That it involves a bunch of adults still living in the same town trying to cover their high-school depravities however, makes this feel more petty than the usual high-octane and high-level crime stories because of the subject matter and circumstances.

Overall the book was crazy but would make one kick-ass movie. Once you start reading it, you will be amazed at all that Clint has had to endure during his 10 traaceless in prison. She is determined to find a way to put him back where he belongs. They eventually sleuth until they discover who really committed that murder and others and uncover a whole lot of sinful secrets in the process. It’s hard to imagine how this couple could overcome the past but this is fiction and the author made it work for me. A great fast page turner that grips you from start to finish.

Only other negative was there were so very many characters to keep track of. This was very sweet. A bunch of red-herrings in the multiple POVs that Webb provides certainly contribute to the confusion and the continual guessing. Despite this, I did enjoy the suspense in this novel. Preview — Traceless by Debra Webb. I’ll read more by this author for sure.

I will read more from this author. Read completely in one day and will read it again. But after 10 long brutal years, he is free.
